Henry Joyce

Business Development Executive

Henry has fast become a staple part of the Prophecy family and is often seen wondering around the office sporting a rather colourful shirt. Read on to find out more about Henry...

"'If you want the rainbow, you got to put up with the rain'. Do you know which 'philosopher' said that? Dolly Parton."

Give us a fun fact about life at Prophecy Unlimited

Despite what it says on all of the offical documentation, Prophecy is actually run by a lady called Doreen, our beloved (but fearsome) cleaner.

If you were stuck on a desert island and could only take one book, one film and one album – what would they be?

It’s Friday afternoon – what song do you blast out on Sonos?

Tell us something about you that might surprise us

In my early teenage years, I got so good at Tetris that somebody paid me £15 to log onto their Facebook and beat all of their friends’ high scores.

What did you want to be when you were growing up and why?

Professional Tetris player. See above.

What is your guilty pleasure?

I have a tendency to get too emotionally invested in the tactical decisions that contestants make on TV gameshows. If someone makes a decision I disagree with on The Chase, my neighbours are likely to hear about it.

Draw a self-portrait

Got a bit carried away here and somehow ended up with this. Can’t decide if I love or hate it.

What's your biggest achievement in life so far (personal or professional)?

I’d hope it’s not my *biggest* achievement so far, but I was pretty chuffed when I won a Peep Show themed pub quiz a few months ago. The prize was an ergonomic management keyboard that now sits proudly on my desk.

There are around 7 billion videos on YouTube. Which is your favourite?

Father’s Day is on Sunday.

What is your favouite thing about your job?

Every day is different, but most of them are pretty fun!

If you were CEO for the day, what one rule would you introduce?

I’d formalise ‘Wavey Fridays’ and make dodgy Hawaiian shirts mandatory at least once a week.

What are your three top tips for any new employee?

1. Try and meet as many people as possible! There are lots of lovely people in the agency and the more efffort you put into making pals the more you will get out.
2. Don’t share your welcome brownies. It’s a baller move and people will respect you instantly. (Not really!)
3. Keep Doreen onside. (Really!)
