10 minutes with… Megan Harrison, Agile Delivery Manager

Megan Harrison

Agile Delivery Manager

Meet Megan, our new Agile Delivery Manager. When she's not busy perfecting her teams or delivery system, you can find her smashing it at the gym or living it up at the pub. And as she says, it's all about balance. Read on to find out what makes Megan tick...

"Something my mum always used to say to me, “Don’t ask, don’t get”. Never be afraid to ask, no matter what the answer might be!"

– The greatest bit of advice Megan has ever received

Describe what you do at Prophecy Unlimited in 10 words or less

Ensure teams are working as effectively and efficiently as possible.

What do you like most about your job?

Breaking down silos and bringing different teams together to work more collaboratively (and hopefully feel more like one team rather than separate ones!)

"I'm also a CrossFit coach."

– Something about Megan that may surprise you

What did you want to be when you were growing up and why?

A lawyer because arguing and proving you’re right is fun (and Legally Blonde is a great film).

If you were stuck on a desert island and could only take one book, one film and one album – what would they be?

Lord of the Rings (because it would force me to read it), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 2, A Rush of Blood to the Head – Coldplay.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Taylor Swift (but I don’t feel at all guilty about it).

Draw a self-portrait.

Around 5 billion videos are watched on YouTube every day, which is your favourite?

Any funny dog compilation, I can’t pick one so here’s a link to all of them: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=funny+dogs

If someone only had one day to spend in Bristol, where should they go?

Clifton Village. Go see the bridge, mooch around the shops, and eat and drink lots.

What’s the best thing about living/working in Bristol?

Being able to walk everywhere (like to all the great pubs).

What’s your top tip for someone applying for a role at Prophecy Unlimited?

Just be yourself and don’t be too nervous – everyone is really friendly!

A fun fact about life at Prophecy Unlimited.

You get toast every morning (with Marmite, more importantly) and drinks every Friday – what’s not to love?!

If you were CEO for the day, what one rule would you introduce?

Dogs allowed in the office.

What song title sums up what it’s like to work at Prophecy Unlimited?

Hangover – Taio Cruz ft. Flo Rida
